Q: What are the steps for incorporating a

Procedures depend on the type of Romanian

Nevertheless basic steps include: reserving the company name, drafting the
required documents (Articles of Association, Affidavits, Specimen Signatures
etc.), perform Notary and Apostille procedures and file the documents with
the Trade Register for registration of the Romanian company.
Q: How much does it cost to create a Romanian

Costs depend on the type of
structure, number of shareholders and directors, purchase of additional
services such as Romanian VAT Registration, Registered Office, Virtual

Q: How quickly can I incorporate my Romanian

VAT Registration is done separately for the
European Union and the rest of the world (including Romania). In order to
become an EU VAT-payer, we will have to register your company with the
Romanian Intra-Community Register.

Registration of a Romanian subsidiary or
branch is similar to the incorporation of a regular SRL Company (Limited
Liability Company). Nevertheless certain additional documents have to be
provided if the shareholder is a foreign parent company.

A Romanian representative office is
registered through a different procedure than other Romanian corporate
entities. For instance a representative office is registered with the
Ministry of Economy and not the Romanian Trade Register.
